The Cause Of Hair Loss in Males
Hair Restoration March 1st, 2009The problem of hair loss is quite common in men. In fact, experts have coined a word which is used to describe the condition in men -‘alopecia’ or ‘androgenic alopecia’. It is a disorder or ailment of a sort in which a man starts losing hair and initially the loss is small. Later, large chunks start coming out and the hair line starts receding. Further, this receding hairline gives way for a completely bald head.
Medically, the reason which has been given by doctors as a cause for this ailment is the human hormone ‘DiHydroTestesterone’. It is the main reason as to why a lot of men have to suffer from the problem of hair loss. Basically, this hormone is produced in optimum quantities in the body. However, if the amount produced is in excess, it attaches itself to the follicles and resists the flow or uptake of blood by the follicles. Hence, to sum it all, it prevents the follicles to get nutrition of any sort.

Hair restoration techniques take the above factor into consideration and act accordingly to lower the levels of the hormone. Not only does this hormone play havoc with our hair, it is also responsible for the development of certain secondary sexual characteristics in certain men.
