How To Treat Hormone Induced Hair Loss?
Hair Restoration March 28th, 2009Hair loss is a common sight in a lot of individuals nowadays. Normally it is attributed to a number of causative factors which include stress, improper diet etc. but a lot of people do not know that a hormone in the human body is majorly responsible for the occurrence of hair loss.

The hormone in question here is ‘DHT’ or dihydrotetestoerone. It is produced in the human body by natural processes and can be found in men on a major basis. But if the hormone is produced in more than the required amounts, it can lead to havoc.
The hormone irrigates the tissue of the male scalp and causes a stoppage in the blood supply to the roots of hair in an individual. Further, they bind with the cell responsible for promoting the growth of hair and prevent them from multiplying further. As a result, there is either a controlled growth of hair or no growth at all.
This problem is taken into account by a lot of drug companies when they produce their respective medications, commonly called – hair restoration applications. However, even they are not able to neutralize the levels of the hormone in the body. Herbal formulations have been produced which have been able to reduce the occurrence of such a problem. They mostly employ ingredients which are rich in zinc.
